The Dabney!

Walking into the space that is the perfect blend of rustic and modern was just the beginning of one of the best (if not the best) dining experiences I’ve had out in DC post-covid. The traditional brick hearth oven is definitely the center piece of the dining room, and I could barely take my eyes off of it as I watched the fire blaze through out the evening. With everything on the menu being sourced from the Mid-Atlantic and farm raised, Chef Jeremiah Longhorn has done an amazing job with the Tasting Menu that takes traditional menu items and gives them a refreshing update. There is a two hour time limit on tables, like so many establishments have put in place due to limited capacity dining. The staff could not have been more gracious as I ran super late for my reservation because of all the highway exit closure taking place on the evening the election results were called. I cannot wait to go back and continue to explore! There is absolutely no wonder why this is rated as a Michelin Star restaurant!
